Hartmut

Unser Aufenthalt bei Hartmut war absolut genial ! Es ist einfach schön, direkt an so einem wunderschönen Startplatz zu wohnen. Wir waren im Igloo, andere waren bei Hartmuts Haus, und alle waren begeistert. Fliegen, fliegen, fliegen... Wir haben in 8 Tagen sehr sehr viel gelernt : endlich mal das Rückwärts-Aufziehen, die Kontrolle des Schirms und das Top-Landen :) Wir hatten abends auch noch eine Menge Spaß mit anderen Fliegern im Pool, beim gemütlichen Grillen am Startplatz oder beim Erkunden der lokalen Bars und Restaurants. The flying weather in november was definitely not ‘good’ given the fact that there were 2 flyable days in one week. Take-off with south winds is not for beginners due to turbulence. The top landing had rotor potential. There is only one alternative beach landing for each wind direction. Many other nice locations exist on the island but none of these were flyable. Guidance for alternate launch sites is limited to provision of coordinates but some of the sites have amazing potential. Beach landings are ok, but require experience because approaches are mostly from the sea.
