The best thing about paragliding in Bursa is the variety of options as there are several take-offs close to each other, covering all wind directions. Conditions are generally mellow, with not too strong winds and some really pleasant afternoon thermals.
We will have a tailor-made tour visiting several spots in the area. It will include some high altitude mountain take-offs and visits to typical villages where we will be tasting some traditional food after the flights. As part of the cultural immersion we will have a chance to visit some mystical and historical parts of Bursa.
- We will pick you up in Istanbul Airport at your arrival and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day will be free, you can restore your energy from the trip and have dinner at the hotel.
- The following days we will head to Cumalıkızık village and fly from Zeyniler take-off (1950m). We will then continue our tour into Uludag Mountain and its take-off at 2050m. After that we will be moving to a different place and climb even higher to İnegöl take-off that stands at 2222 m. At the end of the day after the flights there will be a tasting of traditional local food including the delicious inegöl meatballs.
- On the last day, after a good breakfast at the hotel we will depart and take you to the airport, closing our long flying and cultural week.
Close to Bursa sits Saitabat, an area surrounded by lush green lawns and oak trees. A special place is Uludag waterfall that flows into the canyon. Hiking trails and other natural spots are within reach for some relaxing moments. Another unique place is the Suuçtu Waterfall which is located in the surroundings of Bursa. The beatifull waterfall pours from a 38 meter-high wall onto a natural lagoon, making for a nice relaxing area.
Cumalıkızık is an ancient village with a rich cultural and architectural legacy. The local ethnography museum, located in the village's square displays historical objects from the village. One of the main attractions is a traditional festival that gathers big crowds during the month of June.
One of our pit-stops, Uludağ, is considered the ancient Mysian Olympus, a mountain that tops at 2,543 m, popular for winter sports and a national park of rich flora and fauna.
